With a sling bikini one should say; it offers the most minimalistic coverage that a woman could get. These bikinis are famous by four names, viz. sling, suspender bikini, suspender thong and slingshot bikini. It comes under the category of a one piece suit and is meant to show the excess skin revelation. Even the Brazilian bikini can be termed as a modest version in front of these.
So in a slingshot there is a bikini bottom and instead of the straps rotating around the waist or tied at the hips section, these straps go overboard and cover the breasts with a thin lining. Now that completely keeps your torso exposed both the sides. So basically just the nipples and the pubic area get a cloth to cover and rest everything stays nude. So after the straps cover the breasts section it reaches over the shoulder and then extends backwards to cover the buttocks in a thong fashion.
This bikini which gained attention the 1990’s have been in frequent use in the beaches of Europe. There is also a variation of straps included in the sub category of slingshot which is known as pretzel bikini.
